Macedonian voice over recording services for your project
Macedonian is the official language of North Macedonia and a minority language in Albania, Bulgaria and Greece. Approximately 2 million people speak Macedonian as their mother tongue.
The Macedonian language belongs to the South Slavic languages within the Indo-European language family. The independent standard language Macedonian exists only since the foundation of the Republic of Macedonia in 1944. Due to the numerous similarities to the Bulgarian language, Macedonian was called “Bulgarian dialect” before 1944. Macedonian knows numerous regional dialects with many differences in grammar and pronunciation. In the meantime, however, Macedonian is a fully developed and regulated standard language. There are many loan words from other languages, e.g. from Serbian and Turkish, but also from Russian or German.
Macedonian uses the Cyrillic alphabet and is mostly based on the Serbian alphabet. The Macedonian grammar has some special characteristics within the Slavic languages, e.g. trailed articles, the duplication of objects or the coincidence of genitive and dative. The sentence structure in Macedonian follows the SVO scheme (subject-verb-object), as for example also in English, French or Dutch.
We have already implemented several projects in Macedonian, including radio ads for flydubai airline and telephone-based patient survey systems for the pharmaceutical company ICON.
Voice over recordings in Macedonian are carried out in professional recording studios located in North Macedonia. We work with native speakers who have a perfect command of the Macedonian language and are trained professional voice talents.
