Galician voice over recording services for your project
The Galician language (also known as Galego) has been the official language of the Autonomous Community of Galicia since 1982, beside Spanish.
Galician is spoken in the northwest of Spain by about 2.5 to 3 million people in the neighboring provinces of Asturias, León and Zamora in addition to Galicia.
The Galician language belongs to the Ibero-Roman branch of Romance languages and is closely related to its neighboring Ibero-Roman languages, Spanish (Castilian) and Portuguese, with which it formed a linguistic unit in the Middle Ages (Galician-Portuguese) and typologically still forms a uniform language group today.
Galician vocabulary has a large number of Castilian Spanish words, especially in the field of modern technology and the associated neologisms. The Galician vocabulary is also very similar to Portuguese. However, there are old words in Galician that are no longer used in Portuguese.
Although Galician has only minor dialectal differences, three groups can be distinguished due to its geographical location: The Eastern Galician, the Central Galician and the Western Galician dialect.
The Galician alphabet consists of 26 Latin letters. The sentence structure usually follows the “subject-verb-object” sentence position (SVO).
Voice over recordings in Galician are carried out in professional recording studios located in Spain. We work with native speakers who have a perfect command of the Galician language and are trained professional voice talents.
