Slovenian voice over recording services for your project

We provide voice over recording services for your image film, e-learning course, or commercial with native Slovenian voice talents in close cooperation with reliable partner studios directly in Slovenia.

Slovenian is the official language of Slovenia and one of the 24 official languages of the European Union. Slovenian also has official language status in Austria, Italy and Hungary. Almost 2.2 million people speak Slovenian as their mother tongue.

The Slovenian language belongs to the South Slavic languages within the Indo-European language family. There are similarities to the Kajkav dialect of the Croatian language as well as a certain kinship with the West Slavic languages Czech and Slovak.

Due to the mountainous geography of Slovenia and the Slovenian-speaking regions of Austria, numerous and sometimes very different dialects developed, which can be summarized in the following groups: Carinthian Slovenian, Styrian Slovenian, Oberkrainerisch, Unterkrainerisch, Primorsko, Prekmurščina, Rovtarsko and Prleško.

Slovenian grammar has some peculiarities compared to other South Slavic languages: In addition to singular and plural there is also the dual in Slovenian. A distinction is made between 6 cases in the case: Nominative, genitive, dative, accusative, instrumental and locative. Thus, the Slovenian grammar can be compared perhaps rather with West Slavic languages such as Czech or Slovak. The sentence structure in Slovenian follows the SVO scheme (subject-verb-object), like for example also in English, German or Russian. The Slovenian script uses its own variant of the Latin alphabet.

Voice over recordings in Slovenian are carried out in professional recording studios located in Slovenia. We work with native speakers who have a perfect command of the Slovenian language and are trained professional voice talents.
