Ukrainian voice over recording services for your project
The Ukrainian language is the sole official language in Ukraine as well as one of the official languages in Transnistria (officially the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic).
In Ukraine, about 32 million people speak Ukrainian as their mother tongue; many other Ukrainians and non-Ukrainians use it as their second language. The total number of Ukrainian speakers worldwide is estimated at about 45 million. They live mainly in Russia, Moldova, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Poland and Romania, but also in the USA, Canada and Israel.
Ukrainian is a language from the East Slavic subgroup of the Slavic branch of Indo-European languages and the third most spoken Slavic language after Russian and Polish. The language, which is closely related to Belarusian and Russian, is written with a variant of the Cyrillic alphabet.
Due to the historical development, the western part of Ukraine has developed under Polish influence and is Ukrainian-speaking. The eastern part of the Ukraine was under Russian rule for a long time, which is why the Russian language prevailed here. Since the independence of Ukraine, Ukrainian has been the sole official language of the new state, although Russian still plays an extremely important role, especially in the eastern regions.
Traditionally, Ukraine has a large number of dialects. A distinction is made between the three main groups: the northern, south-western and south-eastern dialects. The latter are the basis of the modern Ukrainian written language.
Voice over recordings in Ukrainian are carried out in professional recording studios located in Ukraine. We work with native speakers who have a perfect command of the Ukrainian language and are trained professional voice talents.
