Belarusian voice over recording services for your project
The Belarusian language (Belarusian, outdated Byelorussian or Belorussian) is, besides Russian, one of the two official languages in Belarus. Belarusian is also recognized as a minority language in Poland, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Lithuania and Russia, where it is known as “Western Russian”.
The number of Belarusian-speaking people in the world cannot be precisely stated, estimates are up to 8 million. The majority of native speakers live in Belarus, although many residents prefer the Russian language. Today, about 75% of the population use Russian as their main colloquial language. Belarusian-speaking minorities live in Poland, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Lithuania and Russia.
Belarusian, along with Russian and Ukrainian, is one of the three East Slavic languages that developed in the Middle Ages from Old Russian, also known as Ruthenian, in turn descended from Old East Slavic. Today’s Belarusian language is usually written in the Cyrillic alphabet but can also be written in Latin (Łacinka), which is based on Polish spelling.
The Belarusian vocabulary consists mainly of Slavic hereditary vocabulary, some influences of Church Slavonic and borrowings from Polish.
In Belarusian, for example, we have produced an image video for the furniture fitting manufacturer Blum.
Voice over recordings in Belarusian are carried out in professional recording studios located in Belarus. We work with native speakers who have a perfect command of the Belarusian language and are trained professional voice talents.
