The Kazakh language (Kazakh) is spoken today in Kazakhstan by over 6 million people and is there, besides Russian, also the official language.

Kazakh belongs to the Turkic language family. It is considered to be one of the West Turkic languages (Kypchak group), which also includes Tatar, Bashkir and Karakalpak. The Kazakh language is closely related to neighboring Kyrgyz.

Kazakh is mainly spoken in Kazakhstan and various Central Asian countries such as Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. Furthermore, over 1 million Kazakhs live in the People’s Republic of China and over 100,000 Kazakh speakers live in Mongolia. Kazakh-speaking minorities still live in Turkey, Afghanistan and Iran.

Kazakh can be divided into three dialect groups, which have developed from the three historical tribes of the Kazakhs. Northeastern Kazakh is spoken in the traditional Middle Horde region of central and northeastern Kazakhstan and is the basis of modern written language. Western Kazakh is traditionally spoken in the west of the country and in Turkmenistan. The third dialect, Southern Kazakh, is mostly spoken in southern Kazakhstan, the Great Horde region, as well as in the neighboring part of Uzbekistan and in the autonomous Sinkiang region (also Xinjiang).

The Central Asian states, in which Turkic languages are spoken, agreed in the early 1990s to introduce a form of the Latin writing system based on the Turkish Latin alphabet for their official languages.

We have already implemented some projects in Kazakh, including the production of the soundtrack for an image movie for Expo 2017 in Astana.

Voice over recordings in Kazakh are carried out in professional recording studios located in Kazakhstan. We work with native speakers who have a perfect command of the Kazakh language and are trained professional voice talents.
