Tagalog voice over recording services for your project
Tagalog, once the language of the Tagals in the region around Manila, was the source language from which today’s national and official language Filipino developed. Approximately 28 million people speak Tagalog as their mother tongue, and another 45 million speak it as a second language.
Tagalog belongs to the Austronesian language family and is related to the languages Indonesian and Malay. The language has been strongly influenced by many colonizations, mainly Spanish, Chinese and American: the vocabulary contains many Spanish, Chinese and English foreign words.
Tagalog uses Latin script and is not so much a formalized as an oral language with a wide range of terminology, often depending on the author. Often the order of sentences can be freely chosen by unambiguous words. Simple sentences usually begin with the verb, followed by the subject and other independent phrases. Since there are no auxiliary verbs in the Tagalog, a complete sentence can also exist without a verb. It can be said, for example, that Tagalog usually follows the VSO scheme (verb-subject object) in sentence construction, like Arabic.
We have already implemented several projects in Tagalog language, including voice announcements for the defibrillator manufacturer Zoll Medical and several telephone-based patient survey systems for the pharmaceutical company ICON.
Voice over recordings in Tagalog are carried out in professional recording studios located in the Philippines or Thailand. We work with native speakers who have a perfect command of the Tagalog language and are trained professional voice talents.
