Korean voice over recording services for your project

We provide voice over recording services for your image film, e-learning course, or commercial with native Korean voice talents in close cooperation with reliable partner studios directly in South Korea.

Korean is the official language in South and North Korea and in the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture and Changbai Korean Autonomous County of Jilin province, China. In these countries, about 77 million people speak Korean as their mother tongue. In Japan and the People's Republic of China, Korean is sometimes spoken as a second language.

How and from which language family Korean developed has not been clarified until today: A relationship with Sino-Tibetan languages such as Mandarin-Chinese can be excluded because there are no similarities in grammar. Due to the close cultural relationship with China, some Chinese loan words were adapted into Korean, but there is nothing else that both languages have in common.

However, there are similarities with Japanese: both languages are agglutinating languages, the grammar and the subject-object-verb scheme (SOV) in sentence structure and even the different forms of courtesy are almost identical in both languages. In contrast, the differences in vocabulary could not be greater: With a few exceptions, there are almost no similarities. That’s why many linguists classify Korean as an isolated language, such as the Basque language. Isolated languages are languages that have no genetic relationship to any other language.

Korean has different dialects, but they differ only slightly from each other. Due to the political division of the Korean peninsula, the Korean standard language in South Korea is based on the Pyojun-eo dialect around Seoul and in North Korea on the Munhwaŏ dialect around Pyongyang. However, the differences are so small that both variants are equally well understood by all Korean-speaking people, except for a few small differences in vocabulary.

We have already implemented a considerable number of projects in Korean, including marketing and product movies for the software developer Adobe; an image movie for the furniture fittings manufacturer Blum; on-board voice announcements for the Emirates airline; a regular series of e-learning courses for the automobile manufacturer BMW; TV commercials for Alpecin, a brand of the cosmetics developer Dr. Wolff and many more.

Voice over recordings in Korean are carried out in professional recording studios located in Korea. We work with native speakers who have a perfect command of the Korean language and are trained professional voice talents.
