Kyrgyz voice over recording services for your project
The Kyrgyz language (Kyrgyz) is the official language of the Kyrgyz Republic and is spoken there by over 4 million people as their mother tongue.
Kyrgyz is a Turkic language and belongs to the northwestern subgroup of the Kipchak languages. It is related to Uzbek, Kazakh and more distantly also to Turkish.
The Kyrgyz language is spoken as a mother tongue by over 70% of the inhabitants, especially in Kyrgyzstan. About 4% use it as a second language. In the neighboring countries of Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and the autonomous Chinese region of Sinkiang (also Xinjiang), Kyrgyz is spoken by minorities.
There are about 40 Kyrgyz dialects which are influenced by the neighboring Turkic languages. Kyrgyz is usually divided into two dialect groups: The Northern dialects have a significant number of loanwords from Kazakh and the adjoining Mongolian languages. Standard Kyrgyz is based on the Northern dialect. The Southern dialects are influenced by Uzbek, Tajik, and Persian.
Kyrgyz is an independent written language only since the 1920s, when linguists began to write down their own mother tongue with a modified Arabic alphabet.
As in Kazakhstan, the intention is to introduce a uniform western Latin alphabet. At present, however, the Cyrillic alphabet is still used for writing.
Voice over recordings in Kyrgyz are carried out in professional recording studios located in Kyrgyzstan and Russia. We work with native speakers who have a perfect command of the Kyrgyz language and are trained professional voice talents.
