Sesotho voice over recording services for your project
Sesotho, also known as Southern Sotho, is one of 11 official languages in South Africa and Lesotho. Sesotho is spoken by about 6 million people as their mother tongue.
Sesotho belongs to the Bantus languages within the Niger-Congo language family, is closely related to Tswana (Setswana) and is pronounced by so-called “click sounds”, which are formed in different ways by clicking with the tongue.
Sesotho uses the Latin writing system and his own alphabet. There are 9 vowels and the vocabulary of Sesotho comes mainly from the Bantus languages. Sesotho also knows many European and Afrikaans loan words. There are 7 noun groups in which 6 can form a plural. The sentence structure in Sesotho follows the SVO scheme (subject-verb-object), like for example also in English, German or Russian.
We have already implemented some projects in Sesotho, including several telephone-based patient survey systems and the complete production of explanatory videos for the pharmaceutical company ICON.
Voice over recordings in Sesotho are carried out in professional recording studios located in South Africa. We work with native speakers who have a perfect command of the Sesotho language and are trained professional voice talents.
